EBTKS CHALLENGE #11

Hello everyone. Just in to submit my post for the ebtks challenge. I can't miss their challenge and I just don't know why I have fun playing along them so heres the sketch...
This sketch is inpired my kelly's craft room go over to their blog to know more EBTKS.
Here's my card to the sketch...

This is a standard size card just flipped horizontally. For the bigger circle I cut out a heart from a scrap pattern paper I had. Adhered it to a card stock and then for some interest I adhered card stock vellum underneath with foam adhesive. Then just glued it down to a white card stock and drew some stitching lines along. For the scalloped border I first trimmed down my card just about an inch. Then I placed clear acetate. The part that was trimmed down I cut it just a little short and then glued down a strip of a pattern. After that I just placed the trimmed edge back on the acetate. Pretty fun to make.
I hope your not bored by now reading my typicals ways of making a card :)
I'm off to a long walk good bye for now

Blog Hop Combo Happy Birthday!

Hello everyone hope all of you had a fun weekend. There's a blog hop going on SPCC.Go over to check it out and be inspired and win prizes :)Blog Hop Combo . So the color combo
Pretty easy color combo but to use some thing  recyclyed was a bit challenging becuase it is a go green blog hop.
I recycled a box top.
First I painted the box top with some blue paint. Then I didn't have turquise ribbon so I just took my white satin ribbon and inked it in turquise ink. Then I sewed it and stick it up to the box top. The Happy Birthday is a stampin' up retired stamp. After stamping it on a textured cardstock it gives the distressed look not perfect. I live in dubai so we don't have stampin' up over here. Whenever I go to the states I just fill up one of my suitcase with supplies :D, .... In the end I just cut out some hearts and took out a butterfly from my sticker stash.Sorry I can't stop myself from the stiching lines they just add this last touch :)

Oh and the blog hop I did that before making this card to be inspired and thanks to the DT I was inpired
Hope you liked it.Enjoy the week Have fun!

SP Color Combo #38

First time trying this color challenge out looks like fun.Go over to the blog and join in the funSPcolorcombos
Now for my card. I live in middle east so we don't have anything such as stampin up we do have other famous companies basic grey K & company just a few of them. :) So I tried matching up my colors as far as I could I hope its okay :)
Yes after taking the picture I realized the ends of the ribbon weren't trimmed too well so just did that. Its amazing how my camera works it captures a really detailed image too bad Im not good at photography.Oh well now over to my card. Its a 4 1/2 by 4.25 inches. It a little short in width because I messed up the side while drawing fuax stiching :D so I end up trimming that side. I am in love with this kinda ribbon it just fills up the card and it sorta looks like a butterfly. I stamped polka dots with some brown chalk ink and then stamped "Thank You" on it with some "versa color lilac" ink. For the blue color I just added a blue border that I had and thats it to the card.
I hope you liked it and I had fun playing along this challenge!
Have a fun saturday!

Good Morning everyone. Hope everyone is having a great week. The topic says it all its time for ebtks challenge. It's their around the house challenge and its really fun. Go over to their blog to find out more.
This was courtney's idea. She is a really unique carmaker I must say I love her designs, the way she uses her ribbon and specially her stamp sets they are so different and amazing, I wish I could buy them too bad I live in far east.We don't get most of cardmking supplies anyways, she is releasing a new stamp set,go over to her blog to check it out Practicing Creativity.
Now for my card....I had these peices of cloth saved from when I was making a quilt....
I was eying these flowers that were sorta going in a round so this is what I did.....
I cut out the flowers and  tried stiching them in a round Somehow I pulled it out right but not exactly perfect. I decided to use a whiite cardstock since it can just go with anything. Added some ribbon to give it a little last touch.I hope you liked my card.
Enjoy your week.

You Are Invited!

Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #102

Hello every one. It's time for another taylored expressions sketch challenge...
A really nice sketch so I couldn't stop my self from making just one card so I made two....
I haven't had made handmade patterned paper for a while so I made a striped patterened paper for this card. I wasn't sure to use it on white card base or red so I used it on both of them. I will be having a party soon so I have to like invite 70 people..OMG making 70 invitations will be challenging for me. I am thinking to go for the red one but I had another idea which I will be posting tomorrow.Tell me then which one is better...The "just for you" is a standard size card. The invitation one is 3.25 by 4 1/2...Pretty easy and simple cards.
Enjoy. :)

Go Green Challenge KLSNS

Hello there every one. This is the first time i'lll be doing a KLstampin n scrapping  challenge. Its there go green challenge. So this was about recycling.Go over to their blog for more. I had this old organizer which was too pretty to just throw it away......
I Just coudn't throw away this little thing so I made this out of it.....

It's basically a card but a really different one it has magnets to the right and its a tri fold card...

It has a gift inside the card. This inspiration was from the two peas a year in class, Feb by Kristina werner.I wrote wishes on the left side and to the right is a personal message.
This is a sketch by EBTKS Challenge which is still going on I just reused the sketch.I stamped a little bit on the inside. Those magnets you can see on the right and left they actually help you to open the card....

So it kinda looked like a gift box so I just put a little red cardstock on the back so that it looked good.
Oh and those letters on the card are also recycled. You guys know how we buy a samsonite suitcase or something other we get letter stickers so there were two sets of uppercase I was left with many I didn't throw them away just used them on this card....

This card took a very long time. Especially scoring it and trying to fit the magnets to the card by the way the my organizer had magnets on it so I cut out the exact same magnet and put them up to this card...To add a little interest to the card I popped up a butterfly with some buttons.I didn't have enough space to right the whole "HAPPY BIRTDAY" phrase and I wanted to recycle the same letters for this particular challenge so I just sticked Happy Day :)... Go Green challenge and my card literally is green.....That was alot of fun. Looking forward to more challenges from KL stampin N Scarppin..
I hope you Enjoyed Have Fun the week has just started :)....

EBTKS Challenge #9 Sketch Challenge

Helllo its time for another EBTKS CHALLENGE . So lets get started annnd
tadaaa

I kinda like how this card turned out to be. The flower was put together for some other card. There were a buncha circles leftovers. So I decided why not put dimensions and stack them up. This is what I did. It was looking too yellow though so I put in extra red gel pen some lines and dots. After doing that it wasn't quiet fitting in the card I made it for hehe. So to show those red line I put the flower up with some red textured cardstock and decided why not do a sketch challenge on it :) On btw the paper is from K&Company and ecosimple.
Enjoy!!

Around The House Challenge #5 - Box Tops

This is the first time Im doing this challenge. So you have to make a card,a scrapbook page or an altered item out of a box top. I pulled out a top from a cereal box and looked at it for a while and the first thing that came to my mind was a bookmark! This is the first time Im making a bookmark,my first attempt. Here it goes I hope you guyz like it :$
In the beginning this bookmark was colored ermm I would say kraft maybe. It wasn't white. So if I put any color on it, that color wouldn't be its original when put on some other color so it has to be white. First step was that I painted it white with some really good water colors. They are really thick and nice. After that I painted it with burgundy color.Mixture of red and purple. Then I made swirls just for a background image. After that I drew a heart on a scrap peice of paper. Put some glue on it and gliterred it red and pruple. Cut it and put it up on my bookmark. After that i cut a piece of cardstock in soft pink. Wrote my message on it. Placed it where I wanted to on the bookmark. Finished it with some pop up butterflies and a maroon ribbon, :) Rounded the edge too

Thanks girls for putting up this amzing challenge had alot of fun with it :)

I love reading books and novels so a bookmark is really important and a fancy bookmark just makes the book look more interesting. These can also be used in albums too. I just love what I created and I think i'll be ripping off more cereal boxes to make these :D.Thanks to my nephews they eat alot of cereal.

Glittery Hearts 2S4Y Sketch Challenge

Hello! I am so late for this challenge. I was cought up in a bunch of stuff. Didn't get time to make what I wanted to. So heres the sketch.
A really nice sketch I would say. First I thought to myself that I won't go for this challenge but common the sketch was so nice to atleast give it a try I somehow managed to get time and here's my take on it.
I made two cards. I didn't like the first one which is the one above. The heart which is glittered was too small.BTW I made that heart myself  :D  The pattern paper is from K&Company and stamp I dont remember but its an old stamp.
Here is the other one...
When this card was made I liked the first one that I made too hehe. So I will be submitting two cards for the challenge. That right there is a decorative peice its not a brad. I just glued it down with some mini glue dots.

So here are these two cards.. The cardstock is textured. Standard size cards annnd thats it! This picture is having some problem and I can't roate it.
Enjoy your weekend Have a blast go party :D.

LOVE...

Hello all of you out there. Its been a really long week. Had guests over. I was the tour "girl" at all times, so I didn't have any time to make a card. Yesterday they left and I had a blast with them :) . We went jetsking, we went to the so called Burj Khalifa, shopping, desert safari etc.
Now on to the card :)

This is black cardstock and the ribbon idea is from kristina. I made this card in such a hurry not a good idea at all I just wanted to make one so bad but had limited time so you will notice ALOT of mistakes in that card hehehe like when I was rounding the corner I didn't realize that the card was too small and my edge punch was too big or...... I don't know something went wrong. Any ideas to cover up that mistake I made?? I personally didn't like what came out but still had to post something :)
Enjoy your weekend and I'll be back hopefully on monday with a new card :)...

2S4Y Challenge 44

This is yet another challenge I was supposed to post it yesterday but something was funny with my interrnet. Oh well this was like the most fun card ever. I just found about the blog so this is the first time Im doing this challenge. Now you'll see in a bit why it was so much fun :)

So this is my card. I had the sketch and it was nice. The colors I could not decide scrathing my head I looked to my right and I saw this......

Yess thats what inpired me the colors :D...see you look around and you find inspirations everywhere.
Now it just gets even more interesting. I had decided the card base will be that green writing on that olay bottle and the pattern paper will be bluish purple.I went through my stash I didnt have any pattern paper of that color. I came across this Hallmark shopping bag which had this blueish-purple pattern on it i cut it out and adhered it ot my card :D.
The two stripes you see in vanilla color. This I cut it out of a K&Company's K-ology sticker pack the pattern on which stickers were adhered :) :).....I had super fun making this card.....The stamp is from stamp affairs...the flower sticker is from EK. The card says A rose for a rose.
ENJOY YOUR WEEEEEk :) Have fun!

EBTKS Challenge

Now this is a really fun sketch to make a valentine card. I was just blogging and I came across Winter's blog. She is having St jude's card drive for the ST jude Hospital. You can go to her blog to read about it more. Unfortunately Im not in the country so I can't mail her the card anyhow I decided to take part in the challenge and heres my card for the sketch.

Even though I had the sketch and the colors ready it still took me time to compelte this card. It took time to make that heart. The design in that heart was done by a red gel pen by me that took a while. The pattern paper is the same again Berry sweet. The just for you stamp is form stampinup. I wrote a sentiment with a white gel pen which reads "Anyone can catch your eye but, it takes someone special to catch your heart" Yep thats it :)
Wish I was in the country so that I could send my card to Winter.
Enjoy your week making cards.. :)

Just for you

Most of my cards look the same to me. There is something special about this card i was making this card and i realized that it my best friends birthday...Im good at forgetting bdays...I didn't have much time to make another one so i just gave her this card  :)
A better way to list the supplies used :D

1.Embossed cardstock in red
2.Red plain cardstock
3.Encore Ultimate metallic blue
4.Versacolor Hyacnith
5. Polka dot Stamp from D.O.T.S
6.Sentiment stamp from Stampinup! Oh i stamped on kraft cardstock from stmapinup!
7..Sticker from E.K Sucess
8. Border from ecosimple.
I just simply smashed and played with my metallic blue on plain red cardstock and then stamped polka dots with some purple shade ink.Oh after taking the picture I thought the card was kinda empty so I drew stiching lines iwth white gel pen on the border of the card and rounded the corners too, was too lazy to take another picture and upload it again on my laptop :)
