EBTKS CHALLENGE #11

Hello everyone. Just in to submit my post for the ebtks challenge. I can't miss their challenge and I just don't know why I have fun playing along them so heres the sketch...
This sketch is inpired my kelly's craft room go over to their blog to know more EBTKS.
Here's my card to the sketch...

This is a standard size card just flipped horizontally. For the bigger circle I cut out a heart from a scrap pattern paper I had. Adhered it to a card stock and then for some interest I adhered card stock vellum underneath with foam adhesive. Then just glued it down to a white card stock and drew some stitching lines along. For the scalloped border I first trimmed down my card just about an inch. Then I placed clear acetate. The part that was trimmed down I cut it just a little short and then glued down a strip of a pattern. After that I just placed the trimmed edge back on the acetate. Pretty fun to make.
I hope your not bored by now reading my typicals ways of making a card :)
I'm off to a long walk good bye for now

Blog Hop Combo Happy Birthday!

Hello everyone hope all of you had a fun weekend. There's a blog hop going on SPCC.Go over to check it out and be inspired and win prizes :)Blog Hop Combo . So the color combo
Pretty easy color combo but to use some thing  recyclyed was a bit challenging becuase it is a go green blog hop.
I recycled a box top.
First I painted the box top with some blue paint. Then I didn't have turquise ribbon so I just took my white satin ribbon and inked it in turquise ink. Then I sewed it and stick it up to the box top. The Happy Birthday is a stampin' up retired stamp. After stamping it on a textured cardstock it gives the distressed look not perfect. I live in dubai so we don't have stampin' up over here. Whenever I go to the states I just fill up one of my suitcase with supplies :D, .... In the end I just cut out some hearts and took out a butterfly from my sticker stash.Sorry I can't stop myself from the stiching lines they just add this last touch :)

Oh and the blog hop I did that before making this card to be inspired and thanks to the DT I was inpired
Hope you liked it.Enjoy the week Have fun!

SP Color Combo #38

First time trying this color challenge out looks like fun.Go over to the blog and join in the funSPcolorcombos
Now for my card. I live in middle east so we don't have anything such as stampin up we do have other famous companies basic grey K & company just a few of them. :) So I tried matching up my colors as far as I could I hope its okay :)
Yes after taking the picture I realized the ends of the ribbon weren't trimmed too well so just did that. Its amazing how my camera works it captures a really detailed image too bad Im not good at photography.Oh well now over to my card. Its a 4 1/2 by 4.25 inches. It a little short in width because I messed up the side while drawing fuax stiching :D so I end up trimming that side. I am in love with this kinda ribbon it just fills up the card and it sorta looks like a butterfly. I stamped polka dots with some brown chalk ink and then stamped "Thank You" on it with some "versa color lilac" ink. For the blue color I just added a blue border that I had and thats it to the card.
I hope you liked it and I had fun playing along this challenge!
Have a fun saturday!

Good Morning everyone. Hope everyone is having a great week. The topic says it all its time for ebtks challenge. It's their around the house challenge and its really fun. Go over to their blog to find out more.
This was courtney's idea. She is a really unique carmaker I must say I love her designs, the way she uses her ribbon and specially her stamp sets they are so different and amazing, I wish I could buy them too bad I live in far east.We don't get most of cardmking supplies anyways, she is releasing a new stamp set,go over to her blog to check it out Practicing Creativity.
Now for my card....I had these peices of cloth saved from when I was making a quilt....
I was eying these flowers that were sorta going in a round so this is what I did.....
I cut out the flowers and  tried stiching them in a round Somehow I pulled it out right but not exactly perfect. I decided to use a whiite cardstock since it can just go with anything. Added some ribbon to give it a little last touch.I hope you liked my card.
Enjoy your week.

You Are Invited!

Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #102

Hello every one. It's time for another taylored expressions sketch challenge...
A really nice sketch so I couldn't stop my self from making just one card so I made two....
I haven't had made handmade patterned paper for a while so I made a striped patterened paper for this card. I wasn't sure to use it on white card base or red so I used it on both of them. I will be having a party soon so I have to like invite 70 people..OMG making 70 invitations will be challenging for me. I am thinking to go for the red one but I had another idea which I will be posting tomorrow.Tell me then which one is better...The "just for you" is a standard size card. The invitation one is 3.25 by 4 1/2...Pretty easy and simple cards.
Enjoy. :)
